Some lessons you learn in a classroom
The ones that stick, you learn from people.
My grandfather, a man everyone called Smokey, taught me the things that don't show up on a resume, right from wrong, the value of hard work, and what it means to look out for your neighbor. Back then, communities did that without being asked.
My mother raised me and my brother alone in Seattle, working two jobs. I watched her finance her first Mustang — the confusion, the pressure, a process designed for someone with more time and leverage than she had. I was a kid. I remembered anyway.
After 25 years rising to Finance Director in the auto industry — watching families leave without coverage they genuinely needed, then return facing real consequences — I left to build something better.
I founded E&S Insurance Group LLC two days after watching a woman from my own community get turned away from another agency because she wouldn't bundle. I recognized her. As the woman my mother had been, thirty years earlier, sitting across from a process not built for her.
Built on 25 years of paying attention.
I spent more than two decades watching what happened when families didn't have the right coverage — and what it cost them. Every service I offer comes from that experience.
Services built for real people.
Ready to get covered
the right way?
No pressure. No rush. Just honest guidance from someone who has seen what's at stake — and built his entire career around making sure you don't find out the hard way.
